2008 Butler Awards

The Butler Awards were established in 2006 in honor of Fred Butler who retired as Executive Director of Community Action Network after 11 years of service. The awards were created to honor individuals and collaborations that exemplify Fred's commitment to collaboration, effective leadership and community justice and well-being.

  Butler Award recipients will be announced at the CAN End of Year Event.  This year's event will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Mexican American Cultural Center located at 600 River St., Austin, TX 78701.
