Proposed CAN Legislative Agenda for 2009
- Draw down all available federal dollars for family economic security by improving the state’s public eligibility system.
- Protect CHIP 12 month eligibility process and provide 12-month continuous eligibility for Medicaid.
- Increase Medicaid reimbursement rates to be more comparable to Medicare and private insurance so more physicians will choose to participate in Medicaid; also include routine dental procedures under Medicaid.
