The Developmental Disabilities Planning Partnership is made up of agencies, service providers and interested citizens who want to educate the community about the needs of people with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. Our group formed seven years ago as a local planning body, and became affiliated with the CAN in 1999. The partnership has produced an assessment of the issues surrounding people with Developmental Disabilities and has produced two FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) documents. The group meets bi-monthly, and membership is open to anyone who is interested in people with Developmental Disabilities.
