Welfare to Work Report

Preface

This report is a follow-up to the November 1997 report prepared by the Community Action Network Welfare Reform Task Force, Welfare Reform in Austin/Travis County- Report to the Resource Council. In their 1997 report, the Welfare Reform Task Force recommended specific actions to address the impact of welfare reform. This report illustrates how these recommendations are being implemented through a community-wide, collaborative effort known as the Austin/Travis County Welfare-to-Work Coalition.
