Homeless Resource Fair

The Homeless Resource Fair, formerly known as the Stand Down, is a one day event that connects homeless individuals and families in our community with as many resources as possible. The event will be held on Saturday November 14, 2009 at the Pan American Recreation Center ( 2100 East 3 rd   Street , Austin , TX 78702 ).   It provides attendees with medical services, referrals to social service agencies, legal assistance, haircuts, food, sleeping bags, clothing, and more. The Homeless Resource Fair is important in connecting homeless individuals with a community that can restore their hope. Last year more than 700 attendees were served.
