What is Stand Up?

Stand Up is a one-day homeless count event in Austin and Travis County. The count is a federally mandated requirement for city and county programs to qualify for federal funding. The Homeless Task Force coordinates the annual count. Many homeless service providers and community volunteers take part in this one-day count of homeless persons.

The 2007 Stand Up is scheduled on Thursday, January 25, from 4-9 PM.
