About Central Texas VOAD
Mission
The mission of the Central Texas Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (CTXVOAD), is to foster more effective service to people affected by disaster. VOAD is an association of nonprofit organizations, faith-based groups, governmental agencies, and who work to ensure cooperation, communication, coordination, and collaboration in the event of a disaster.
Vision
The Executive Committee and Members of VOAD envision true collaboration in Disaster Response. Through advance planning and coordination among member organizations, it is possible to reduce duplication of services and maximize resources available to those affected by a disaster.
