BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

The Children & Youth Mental Health Planning Partnership (CYMHPP) hosted a “Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day” event at City Hall on May 8, 2007. The celebration highlighted youth speakers and performance and an art display. Green ribbons were distributed community-wide to raise awareness and inspire action to meet children’s needs. The Mayor’s Mental Health Task Force (MMHTF) presented its latest study findings at the CAN Community Council on May 21st during Mental Health Awareness Month. MMHTF members and representatives of the CYMHPP and Behavioral Health Planning Partnership identified key vulnerable populations including youth who are transitioning out of foster care or youth-care facilities, older adults, and uninsured populations.

Transportation Focus Groups & Organizational Guide
